Today is a Catholic holiday- The Assumption of Mary. This is a largely attended mass, even if it's not on a Sunday. This image is of the mass in the grand Notre Dame during this very important mass. As you can see, it is fairly empty and even among the attendees there are many non-French who are at this mass. This is an image of the state of the church in France.
