marvweb My name is Marv Nelson.  I am a follower of Jesus, a husband to an amazing wife, father to two amazing children, a Pastor, an   author  a reader of many books and a pretty laid back dude.

I am the Young Adults and College Church Planting Pastor at Allegheny  Center Alliance Church in the inner city of Pittsburgh and I love what I do!  I wrote my first book in 2011 and will be re-doing that one as well as putting out a new one in the coming year.

The name of the church plant I am leading is Aletheia Community Alliance Church (www.aletheiaca.net; www.facebook.com/aletheiaca) and we've been seeing God do tremendous things in the part of Pittsburgh known as Oakland.

Here on this blog I share my Real Life journey as a follower of Jesus, Husband, Daddy and a Pastor.  Each facet deserves it's own page dedicated to it, so as you can see I did that.  Here you will see my real life, real thoughts, real frustrations, and real failures.  Journey with me as I hope to know God and to make Him known!
